She loves writing songs and this was my favorite. She has not finished it but I wanted to send whatever she had so far. How did I get to this day Just singing as a little girl, dreaming of the fame, looking up every star I want to be, wishing, that was me, Now I look, in the mirror, smiling at myself, and I’ll never forget how I got to this day……. But then I’ll say, how did I get to this day……… Dancing away up in my room, holding on my dream to pursue, then I turn around and then I say how did I get to this day, did I wish so hard that my wishing star, got tired of me and sent me free, somebody pinch me……… How did I get to this day….. Playing sports like all my friends , it was okay but singings my way, and I ask myself, how did I get to this day…….. Did I get up there and sing on stage, stomp my feet, going my way, And I ask myself, I can’t figure out……… Did I wish so hard that my wishing star, got too tired of me, and sent me free…, oh somebody pinch me……… Did I get up there and sing and sing on stage, stomping my feet going my way, Oh how did I get to this day…………oh somebody replay…….ya how did I get to this I am sending this on behalf of my 12 year old daughter.
